Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. The most recognizable role she has played is as anchorwoman of CNN's morning show At This Hour. She also was a co-anchor of CNN's morning show New Day as well as The Situation Room. Bolduan was part of CNN its award-winning coverage of the 2016 and 2012 presidential election. She also spent time in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan is member of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congressional cycles as well as congress events including negotiations to raise the limit on federal loans and Super Committee discussions. The work she has done for her general assignments included reports on Christmas Day, the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. She became a CNN Newsource national reporter in the year 2007. She was the CNN Newsource national correspondent, providing breaking news and feature reports to over 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations. Prior to that, she worked as a reporter for NBC News MSNBC & WTVD-TV. She lives in New York City, with her husband, and two children.
