Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding on 30th December, 1986 Hereford, England) is an English musician and singer. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 thanks to her catchy electronic pop tracks "Starry Eyed" and Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is at the top, like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of contemporary mainstream music as well as independent arty pop. Her soprano voice and ability to write emotionally authentic songs are what make her stand out. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a major contract. Her debut album was scheduled for release.
