Beth Hart is a Los Angeles native and blues-singing rock singer. She performed on the streets and made her debut with Immortal in 1995. Her outspoken, raw persona, musicianship, and emotional live performances have attracted the attention of fans. Chuck Taylor, Billboard's October 2nd issue said that Hart is "the most natural woman," and that she was "bawdy and funny, chatty with her choice in spiced languages, free-wheeling and freewheeling." But that's not the real thing about her. She's a tall, graceful singer/songwriter who struts and squalls songs with the vim and energy of Mick Jagger . Other times she sits on the piano or on the in the center of the stage with no formality. The legs of her are crossed across the back of a chair and she speaks in a soft, insipid voice.
